Selected verified GCash subscribers who have claimed their international remittance using GCash.
Receive at least P3,000 of international remittance through the GCash App and then cash-out at least P3,000 of that money at any Palawan Pawnshop during the promo period. Please note that Palawan Pawnshop branches are different from Palawan Express.
To claim from Alipay HK, simply have the person sending you remittance send it directly to your GCash account. Once they have completed the transaction, you should receive an SMS to confirm that the amount has been added to your GCash wallet.
To claim from Western Union, go to your GCash App and click Cash-In > Remittance > Western Union. Enter the 10-digit MTCN / tracking number and your expected amount. Confirm the transaction then you should see the money in your GCash wallet balance on the main homepage.
To claim from MoneyGram, you can choose from two ways: You can either have the person sending the remittance send it directly to your GCash account OR you can claim it by opening the GCash App and selecting Cash-In > Remittance > MoneyGram. Once you’ve selected MoneyGram, you just have to enter your expected amount and 8-digit reference number to claim the money.
For Alipay HK, the sender simply has to enter your GCash registered mobile number to be able to send the money directly to your account.
For Western Union, senders do not have to take any special steps to send money from Western Union to GCash. Simply have them send the money as usual and use the MTCN / tracking number to get the money through GCash.
For MoneyGram, you can either have the sender enter your GCash-registered mobile number to send the money directly to your account OR have them send the money as usual and then claim your remittance manually through the GCash App. Refer to FAQ #3 for the exact steps.
If you are registered to GCash and your account is verified, then you can remit money via GCash. You may find your status below your mobile no. when you click the hamburger menu (3 lines) on the top left-hand corner of the app
You just need to download or update to the latest GCash App, tap the hamburger menu (3 lines) on the top left corner of the screen, and click verification status below your name. A message will appear telling you to get fully verified and you can follow the steps from there.
You will get a notification around 30 minutes after completing the verification process. After you receive the notification, you can already receive money.
All qualified recipients who claim at least P3,000 of international remittance through GCash and then cash-out at least P3,000 of their remittance at Palawan Pawnshop during the promo period will receive the cashback.
The P120 cashback will be sent directly to your registered GCash account within 5 working days from your transaction date. If you have not yet received your prize after 5 working days, double check your transaction history to make sure you met the requirements for the promo. If your balance has not been affected, it is likely that the transaction simply did not push through.
