Grab the best seats in the movie house when you Book Movies with the GCash App!

  1. Log on to the GCash App, and tap “Book Movies” on the dashboard.
  2. Enter the preferred email address where your tickets will be sent, and select ‘Proceed’ at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Choose a nearby cinema, or click on the upper right icon and choose your preferred cinema.
  4. A list of movies will appear on the screen. Tap on movie posters to see the film’s description.
  5. Tap on “Book Movie” below the movie of your choice.
  6. For reserved seats, tap on the available boxes to select your seats. For free seating, simply input the number of tickets you wish to buy.
  7. If you have a promo code, you may enter it at the bottom of your screen.
  8. Tap continue, then confirm your details on the confirmation page.
  9. Upon successful payment, you will receive an email with your e-movie tickets.

Download the GCash App on your smartphone and sign up, or update the GCash App to the latest version and login.

Click “Pay QR” on the dashboard, then click “Scan QR Code” to access the QR scanner. You can also swipe left from the dashboard to access the scanner immediately.

Scan the participating merchant’s QR code during payment.

Input the amount to be paid as stated by the cashier.

Confirm the payment details of the transaction.

Upon success of payment, an SMS will be received by the customer and the cashier indicating that payment has been done.

I tried to purchase tickets online but my payment did not push through because of an error. When I tried to purchase the tickets again for the same seats, those were already taken. Our system locks-in the seat/s selected for 20 minutes once you have reached the payment page, hence when you tried to check the seats again after your previous unsuccessful transaction, they were still marked occupied. You may try to purchase again after the said lock-in period.

For tickets purchased for Ayala Malls Cinemas, you may cancel your transaction up to three (3) hours before your screening time through the cancellation link found in the confirmation email sent to your registered mail by SureSeats. It is on the ‘Online Credit Card Transaction Guidelines’ part. Once transaction is confirmed cancelled, you may already book for the new schedule of your choice.

Tickets purchased for Power Plant Mall Cinema, Greenhills Cinemas, and SM Cinema, are final, non-refundable and non-exchangeable, as requested by GMovies cinema partners.

  1. Log in to the GCash App
  2. Swipe left; this will open the Pay QR scanning page
  3. Scan the merchant’s QR code
  4. Input total transaction amount
  5. Select payment method (GCash or GCredit)
  6. Select voucher to be used among the available vouchers for the current transaction
  7. Tap “Pay [discounted amount]” to confirm payment
  8. You will receive a QR Payment receipt and SMS notification upon successful payment; the merchant will also receive an SMS notification of successful payment

Via GCash on Messenger

  1. Selects “Pay QR” in GCash on Messenger to open the camera
  2. Scan the merchant’s QR code
  3. Input total transaction amount
  4. GCash is only payment method available on QR in Messenger and one voucher is auto-selected, but user can select among all available vouchers

Check your Voucher Pocket to see all of the vouchers available for use, vouchers that you’ve already used, and those that have expired already. You can also see the total amount saved from usage of vouchers.

Here’s how to get a QR Voucher depending on the type:

  1. Promo QR  – Scan the promo QR code to claim a QR Voucher. You can see the promo QR code on our Facebook page (@gcashofficial) or in the participating merchant’s store.
  2. Transactional QR – Just pay with GCash QR at the participating merchant. If you are eligible for the promo, you will receive a QR Voucher after paying.

No. QR Vouchers are meant to be fully consumed in one transaction.

Link a bank account to GCash.

Open the GCash App, click the hamburger menu (3 lines) on the top left corner of the app, and click ‘Linked Accounts’. Choose the BPI icon and follow the steps from there.

Once you have linked your bank account, simply open the GCash app and click Cash-In > Online Banking. After that, just choose the account you have linked and follow the instructions from there. You will be asked to confirm the transaction and you will receive a confirmation message once the transfer is done.

For some banks, you will be sent a one-time pin (OTP) to confirm the transfer. Remember that you must not share your OTP with anyone. GCash and BPI will never call or text to ask you for your OTP.

Open the app and click the hamburger menu (3 lines) on the top left corner of the screen. You may find your status below your mobile number.

You just need to download or update to the latest GCash App, open the hamburger menu (three lines) on the top left corner of the screen, and click the verification status under your mobile number. A message will appear telling you to get verified and you can follow the steps from there.

You will get a notification around 30 minutes after completing the verification process. After you receive the notification, you can already link your bank account and then cash-in.

As long as you have linked a bank account to GCash before, you can avail of the promo.

Cashbacks will be automatically sent to your registered GCash account within 5 working days from your successful linking date.
