And the fans did not disappoint, here we have a list of the actual shows Jungkook watched. If you’re subscribed to Netflix and are unsure of what you want to watch, here are some JK-approved recommendations.

Bridgerton

Bridgerton has to be one of the most streamed shows on Netflix and it’s easy to see why. It’s a spicy Regency period drama with a lot of twists and turns that’ll keep you on your toes. Based on the books written by Julia Quinn, the story involves a love that is born out of passion that eventually blooms into a true love match for the main characters. That goes for both seasons of the show. If you’re the type who loves good slow burn enemies to lovers kind of story, then Bridgerton is definitely the show for you.

Our Beloved Summer

Sometimes simplicity is the best and that’s what Our Beloved Summer is all about. The drama is a story about embracing romance, regret, and unrequited love. The show’s formula is simple but effective even with its typical cliches. The drama forms a sweet and engaging tale that’s not easy to get bored of. Watch this if you’re into something more innocent with a great flow then you’re in the right place with Our Beloved Summer.

Alice In Borderland

If you’re the type of person who’s into thrillers rather than romance, then Alice In Borderland might just be the right show for you. The plot is simple. The main characters are trapped in an alternate, abandoned Tokyo. The characters are then forced to play dangerous games for their own survival. The show is praised by fans for its creative use of visuals, cinematography, and more. If you’re into the thrill, then this show is a must-watch for you.

The Uncanny Encounter

Are you a casual watcher of superhero-Esque shows? Then The Uncanny Counter might just be the show for you. This series was actually a webtoon that was then adapted into a K-Drama due to its popularity. It involves an average group of ordinary people blessed with unique abilities that allow them to fight off evil spirits. This action-packed series is a fun take on the classic ghost-busting style story but with a heartfelt twist. Watch this if you want a break from melodramatic romance.

Money Heist/La Casa De Papel

This show has been popping off since 2019 and is one of the most-watched series around the globe. This show literally has everything, romance, betrayal, melodrama, spice, and more. It’s easy to see why Jungkook already watched this. The plot is gripping and has you rooting for the underdogs. There are also lots of twists and turns that will certainly put you on edge every episode. Each character is also well written and incorporated into the story. So grab a snack and drink if you’re planning to binge-watch this series.

Don’t Look Up

Don’t Look Up is a story about two astronomers attempting to warn the world of a possible comet that attempts to destroy human civilization. The starstudded cast Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Jonah Hill, and Timothée Chalamet just to name a few.  It’s a black comedy film that is an allegory for climate change and a satire on how the government and media tend to ignore these changes. It’s not the best film to illustrate such messages but it’s still fun to watch with friends and family.

Love and Leashes

Love and Leashes is a film with a unique take on the BDSM community. It doesn’t involve raunchy visuals but presents BDSM in a lighthearted rom-com formula. The film has funny moments and sweet moments that could sweep you off your feet but also include an educational take on BDSM. The story follows two professionals that work together in a male dominant company and the two find respite in each other by performing their roles as submissive and dominant. The relationship eventually blossoms into more but not without its challenges. Watch this if you’re into a lighthearted romantic comedy with a twist.

Twenty Five Twenty One

Interested in a coming-of-age romance? Look no further than Twenty Five Twenty One.  Falling in love is such a sweet feeling and this show captures what it is like exactly. The writer of the show weaves heartwarming and heart-wrenching in this series expertly. All the while depicting it realistically unlike other dramas. It’s a K-Drama that gently grips your heart and allows you to feel all the emotions that the characters are feeling. If you’re interested in that, we highly recommend watching Twenty Five Twenty One.

Business Proposal

A Business Proposal is a light and airy drama that’s very easy to get into. Originally a webtoon, the plot is sprinkled with lots of fun moments and lighthearted fun. It’s funny, sweet, and checks all the right boxes for a romantic comedy series. The two main leads are also very attractive, the cinematography is easy on the eyes, and the story is well written for those who just want a drama to watch where they can sit back and relax.

Jungkook definitely has good taste with this current watch list. It’s diverse and has something for everyone. The mix of genres is great for those who want something specific or if they just want to binge-watch something for the weekend.
